Just today on the day of human rights, we could win another business partner for cooperation. This cooperation will benefit the 313 students from the Escola Pohano (see picture) in the province of Benguela in Angola. The nutrition of these children and 70,000 other children were a year ago paid for by the UN World Food Programme and executed by JAM. For political and financial reasons, pulled the WFP in Angola back and left JAM responsibility for those 70,000 children. Unfortunately it was not possible in such a short time the funding for the nutrition of these children safe, and so had to see a few months, the diet can be adjusted. The consequence was that the children were very quick to get back the typical signs of malnutrition. According to information of various school leaders and local politicians, the number of active students on the setting of the school nutrition program by 15 - 20% declined. If there is nothing to eat, the children and especially the girls prefer to be used in the fields. We are pleased to now be fed back and thanks to education and food better chances for a successful life for the 313 children of school Escola Pohano have.
